Fun Monday Street Vendors
ACSC Shag Club Representatives,
I would like to thank you for your interest in setting up a booth
at the Fun Monday
Street Festival. Many clubs have taken advantage of Fun Monday
to add a nice little
sum to their club coffers. Because street vending at Fun Monday
is available for ACSC
member clubs only you do not have to compete with outside sources
of professional
vendors. Below you will find some details that will aid you in
getting ready for the
chance to cash in during Fun Monday on September 19,2022.
Please take the time to carefully read through each item below.
Make sure that you
note the key dates for submission of forms and money. Also, make
sure you are
clear on the recipient of each before you lick and stick
the envelope.
There are seven Adobe PDF files posted
here for your convenience. Three PDF files are applications that
must be filled out and turned in by specific dates. Two PDF files
are informational documents to help you get the most out
of your Fun Monday experience. The last two PDF files are a
Fun
Monday Flyer & a Fun Sunday Flyer that you can use on your club
website and in your newsletter.

VENDOR STALLS
You are allowed to have one (1) 10'x10' tent for each shag club.
You may mark off
a 10'x4' area along the front of your tent to provide for traffic
flow along your
counter. Tape and chalk are acceptable means for marking this
area.
VENDORS FEES
Each application for vending during Fun Monday must be accompanied
by a check for
$100. If your club sells 100 Fun Monday Raffle tickets, your
$100 will be returned.

MERCHANDISE VENDORS
If you are going to be selling merchandise other than food you
will need to fill out two
forms: The NMB Business License Application and the Fun Monday
SOS Vendors
Application. You will also want to read the Fun Monday Guide
For Street Vendors.
FOOD AND DRINK VENDORS
If you are selling food and/or drinks you will have to fill out
and submit three (3)forms
The NMB Business License Application, the Fun Monday SOS Vendor
Application, and
the DHEC Event permit. If you are ONLY selling bottled drinks
and no food this form
does not apply. You will also want to read the Fun Monday Guide
for Street Vendors
and the Food Service Special Event Flyer from DHEC.
The Food Service and Special Events FLYER and SOS Fun Monday
Guidelines for
Street Vendors are "INFORMATIONAL" brochures that detail
the S.C. DEPT. of Health's
requirements for special events & permits.
ALL FOOD VENDORS MUST COMPLY WITH THESE REQUIREMENTS AND MUST
BE SET
UP AND OPERATIONAL FOR INSPECTION BY 8:00 A.M. ON SEPTEMBER 19TH.
This early time is required to provide sufficient time for inspectors
to review and
approve all food vendors. Permits will be issued after inspections.
NO PERMIT, NO FOOD SALES.
IF YOU DO NOT COMPLY WITH DHEC GUIDELINES AND HAVE YOUR EVENT
PERMIT
YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPEN.

You may also fill out the application online by going to the
SC DHEC website:

If you submit the online DHEC form you must still print out the
form. The printed
form must be signed and mailed to the address listed above for
DHEC to complete
the process. I would recommend that you keep a copy of your form
with the
signature and submission date marked on the copy.
